California Prisoner Confesses Beating Two Child Molesters to Death After Warning Ignored
Jonathan Watson, a California inmate serving life for murder, admitted in a shocking letter that he killed two convicted child molesters with a cane after prison staff ignored his urgent warning. Six days after arriving at Corcoran State Prison, Watson’s housing pod was assigned a child molester. Two hours before the attacks, Watson begged a counselor for a transfer to higher security, fearing he might lose control — but was dismissed.
His breaking point came when one molester watched a children’s TV show right in front of others. Fueled by rage, Watson grabbed a cane and attacked. On his way to surrender to guards, he encountered another offender and decided to take him down too.
Watson said, “Being a lifer, I have little to lose. These people are every parent’s worst nightmare.” Both victims died, one immediately and the other days later. This confession exposes a dark reality inside prison walls where warnings are overlooked, and justice is brutal.
